Dorian Weiss, 14 years old, is now the patriarch of his North Carolina mountain town family after his father’s suicide. He tries to wrangle in his siblings and correct their defects as best he can while under the noose of his mother’s emotional incest. Despite his valiant efforts, over the years his siblings drift away from him, some heading to the morgue. In the end, he’s left with the ghost of what should have been the perfect family; made in his image.
